Scope

Users receive information about the type, scope, and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider in this privacy policy.
The Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG) form the legal framework for data protection.

Collection of general information

With each access to this offer, information is automatically collected by us or the web space provider. This information, also referred to as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.

The following information is collected, among other things: name of the website, file, date, data volume, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our offer), and the IP address.

Without this data, it would be technically impossible in some cases to deliver and display the content of the website. Therefore, the collection of data is necessary. In addition, we use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. They help us optimize the offer and the technology. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the log files if there is a suspicion of illegal use of our offer.

Provision of paid services

In order to provide paid services, we ask for additional data. This applies, for example, to payment information.

To ensure the security of your data during transmission, we use encryption methods (such as SSL) via HTTPS, which reflect the current state of the art.

Contact form

If you contact us via the online form or by email, we will store the information you provide in order to answer your inquiry and ask any follow-up questions. The information provided by interested parties can be stored in a customer relationship management system ("CRM system") or a comparable inquiry organization. We delete the inquiries if they are no longer necessary. We review the necessity every 12 months. In addition, the statutory archiving obligations apply.

Integration of third-party services and content

Our offer includes content, services, and performances of other providers. These are, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube, as well as graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be called up and displayed in the user's browser, the transmission of the IP address is absolutely necessary. The providers (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") therefore perceive the IP address of the respective user.

Even though we make every effort to only use third-party providers who only need the IP address to deliver the content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored. This process serves, among other things, statistical purposes in this case. If we become aware that the IP address is being stored, we will inform our users accordingly.

Youtube videos

We have occasionally embedded YouTube videos on our website, which are stored on the servers of the provider YouTube and can be played back on our website via embedding. The videos are embedded with the option for enhanced privacy settings activated. When you play these videos, YouTube cookies and DoubleClick cookies are stored on your computer and data may be transmitted to Google Inc., Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, as the operator of YouTube.

When playing videos stored on YouTube, the following data is currently transmitted to Google Inc. as the operator of YouTube and operator of the DoubleClick network: IP address and cookie ID, the specific address of the page accessed by us, system date and time of access, identifier of your browser.

This data is transmitted regardless of whether you have a Google user account that you are logged into or whether you do not have a user account. If you are logged in in this way, this data may be directly assigned to your account by Google. If you do not wish for this assignment to your profile, you must log out before activating the play button for the video. YouTube or Google Inc. stores this data as user profiles and may use it for advertising, market research, and/or customizing their websites. Such evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide customized advertising and to inform other users about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, but you must contact Google, the operator of YouTube, to exercise this right.

For more information about the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by Google, please refer to this information page.

Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer by the server. They contain information about the browser, IP address, operating system, and internet connection. This data is not passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.

Cookies primarily serve two purposes. They help us to facilitate navigation through our offer and enable the correct display of the website. They are not used to introduce viruses or start programs.

Users have the option to access our offer without cookies. To do this, the corresponding settings must be changed in the browser. Please inform yourself about the help function of your browser on how to deactivate cookies. However, we would like to point out that this may impair some functions of this website and restrict user comfort. The websites http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ (USA) and http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ (Europe) allow you to manage online advertising cookies.

Data protection information for our Facebook page

When you visit our Facebook page, a direct connection is established between your browser and a server of Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA ("Facebook"). Facebook thereby receives your IP address, the time of your visit, and the information that you have visited our Facebook page. If you click on the Like button (for example, in posts) while you are logged into Facebook, you can link the content of our Facebook page to your Facebook profile. As the provider of the page, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted to Facebook or its use by Facebook. Further information on the privacy policy of Facebook can be found here: https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not want Facebook to associate your visit to our Facebook page with your Facebook user account, please log out of Facebook before visiting our page.

Facebook Pixel

Our website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") for conversion tracking.

This allows us to track the behavior of website visitors after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and can optimize future advertising campaigns.

The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website, and we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible, and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Policy. This allows Facebook to display ads on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. This use of data cannot be influenced by us as the site operator.

You can find further information on Facebook's privacy policy here: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You can also deactivate the "Custom Audiences" remarketing function in the advertising settings at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. You must be logged in to Facebook to do this.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps map software from Google Inc. By using this website, you agree to the collection, processing, and use of the data that may be automatically collected by Google and its representatives. Terms of use for Google Maps.

Google Fonts

This site uses certain fonts from Google for display purposes. When a page is accessed, your browser loads these fonts. Your IP address, along with the page (internet address) you have visited, is transmitted to a Google server. For more information about these Google fonts, please visit https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and the Google Privacy Policy at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Google Tag Manager

We occasionally use the Google Tag Manager. The Google Tag Manager does not collect personal data, but the IP address of the page visitor is transmitted to Google when it is included. The Tag Manager only plays out other components and scripts and does not access data from these played-out elements. The individually named elements can have privacy settings made by you, such as deactivating cookies for these elements.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Browser Add-on to deactivate Google Analytics.

Facebook Social Plug-in

We incorporate plugins from the social network Facebook (address: 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) on our websites. You can recognize the plugins - an overview can be found here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/ - by the Like button or the Facebook logo.

When you visit one of our websites with a Facebook plugin, a direct connection is established with Facebook. We have no control over the nature and extent of the data collected, stored, and processed by Facebook. We can only inform you based on our current knowledge.

Facebook is informed via the plugin that you have accessed the corresponding webpage of our offer. This also applies to users who are not registered with Facebook. In this case, there is the possibility that Facebook will store the IP address.

If you are a member of Facebook and logged in, the visit to a website with a Facebook plugin can be uniquely assigned to your user account at Facebook. In addition, the plugins transmit all interactions, such as using the Like button or leaving a comment.

To prevent Facebook from storing data about you, please log out of Facebook before visiting our websites. You can also block the plugins with browser add-ons (e.g., "Facebook Blocker").

For more information on privacy policies, the purpose and scope of data collection and processing, and options for protecting your privacy on Facebook, please visit: http://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.php.

Google+ Social Plugin

We incorporate the social plugin from Google+ (Google plus) on our websites, recognizable by the "+1" symbol on a white or colored background. The plugin is provided by Google Inc. (short Google, address: 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).

When you visit a webpage with a Google+ button, a connection is established with Google's servers. Google transmits the content of the button and embeds it on the corresponding webpage. At the same time, Google receives information about which page is currently being visited. According to Google, personal data is only collected when the Google+ button is clicked. For Google+ members who are logged in, Google stores and processes at least the IP address even without interaction. We have no control over the extent of the data stored in this context.

Google+ users who are logged into their account can recommend our websites with a click on the "+1" button. In this case, Google does not only store the IP address and the browser, but also the content for which the +1 was given, and the page. This information is stored in the user's profile and can be displayed together with the profile name and picture in Google services, including search results. Google uses the data, among other things, to optimize its own services. For information on Google's privacy policy and options for protecting your privacy, please visit: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Google+ members who do not want their data to be collected and stored by us through our websites should log out of their Google+ account before visiting our offer.

Privacy Policy for the use and use of Instagram

The data controller has integrated components of the Instagram service on this website. Instagram is a service that can be classified as an audiovisual platform and allows users to share photos and videos and to distribute such data in other social networks.

The operating company of the Instagram services is Instagram LLC, 1 Hacker Way, Building 14 First Floor, Menlo Park, CA, USA.

Each time one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the data controller and on which an Instagram component (Insta button) has been integrated, is called up, the internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the respective Instagram component to download a representation of the corresponding component from Instagram. As part of this technical process, Instagram becomes aware of which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is logged in to Instagram at the same time, Instagram recognizes with each visit to our website by the data subject and for the entire duration of their stay on our website which specific subpage the data subject visits. This information is collected by the Instagram component and assigned by Instagram to the respective Instagram account of the data subject. If the data subject clicks on one of the Instagram buttons integrated on our website, the data and information transmitted with it are assigned to the personal Instagram user account of the data subject and stored and processed by Instagram.

Instagram always receives information via the Instagram component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is logged in to Instagram at the time of calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the Instagram component or not. If such a transmission of this information to Instagram is not desirable for the data subject, they can prevent the transmission by logging out of their Instagram account before calling up our website.

Further information and the applicable data protection provisions of Instagram can be found at https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388 and https://www.instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion, and objection

You have the right to request information about the personal data stored by us, free of charge, and/or to request correction, blocking, or deletion. Exceptions: This is the prescribed data storage for business transactions or the data is subject to the statutory retention requirement.

If you would like to exercise your right of revocation or objection, a simple email to maxbinder@handfuss.com is sufficient.

In order to be able to consider a data block at any time, it is necessary to keep the data in a block file for control purposes. If there is no statutory archiving obligation, you can also request the deletion of the data. Otherwise, we will block the data if you wish.

Changes to our data protection declaration

In order to ensure that our data protection declaration always complies with the current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This also applies in the event that the data protection declaration has to be adapted due to new or revised services, for example new services. The new data protection declaration will then apply the next time you visit our offer.
